Frequently Asked Questions

Buying, selling, letting and everything in between.

Do buyers pay you a fee?

In most cases the seller's proceeds cover the buyer-agent commission, so our representation costs you nothing out of pocket. Where that isn't the case, we tell you the exact amount in writing before you commit to anything.

How quickly can I see a home I like?

For active listings we typically arrange a private showing within 24 to 48 hours, and often same-day for serious buyers. Request a tour on any listing and we'll confirm a time that works for you.

How do you decide what price to list my home at?

We build a comparative market analysis from recent sales of similar homes on nearby streets, adjust for your home's condition and upgrades, and factor in current demand, rather than guessing or chasing the highest number to win the listing.

What upfront costs should a buyer budget for?

Beyond the down payment, plan for closing costs of roughly 2 to 5 percent of the price, a home inspection (usually $300 to $600), and an earnest money deposit that goes toward your purchase. We walk you through every line before you sign.

Still have a question?

Ask an agent directly — we answer during office hours and pick up first thing otherwise.
